I"m constantly having to dislodge mexican turbos that find their way into the Hagen 802 intakes. To dislodge them, all it usually takes is to turn off the PH and they gently float to the tank bottom.
Yesterday, one of them looked pretty dead when he fell to the sand. He was upended on the sand and all puckered up. This morning he was gone!
So I'm thinking one of the Emerald Crabs dragged him away and is enjoying a buffet.
Which leads to a question. When something like this dies in the tank, is it OK to leave it there and have the C' Crew take care of it? Or does it depend on the size of the tank and what it can absorb?
Thx
Mike
