a early xmas present

my wife gave me a early xmas present
since it was something she couldn't wrap

its a 3inch blue clam boy I love it already
I know there's more just got to wait for santa

yes she got him at aqua-mart , she wouldn't tell me how much

after doing some research it looks to be a blue crocea clam

I have a blue crocea clam as well and just about the same size. About 3 weeks now i've had him on the sand bed. He twists around sometimes - should I put him on the rocks?

I was told to keep moving it around
until it seems happiest
once a week , who knows it might like the first spot I chose

Make sure it is sitting so the mantle is facing up so it gets as much light as possible. Good luck with it, I'm one week in on my new derasa clam. It's my "I quit smoking" clam.
