Just wanted to check real quick if it was possible to add a fire shrimp to my invert list. I think that I might be over crowded and just wanted to make sure it would be ok. TIA

Yeah thats what I was thinking too. The CBS is kind of the king of the inverts. Ive been seeing some dead hermit crabs here and there and Im thinking it is him. I think ill just the fire shrimp go. Besides corals, what is something that can give the tank some color too it without adding something that will be eaten or make the tank overcrowded? TIA

I am thinking your CBS will take it out in short order.
It will be a gamble but I would tend to agree with Hara. A 29gal is a bit too tight for a CBS and others. However, it will depend on the animal. I have one n my 72gal with a fire shrimp, two cleaners, three peppermints and a pistol shrimp with no problems. It does not bother my fish as well. Others have not been as lucky. It is best to give the CBS it's dserved space.

They are good hardy inverts but I have to agree that the CBS will be rough.
