I finally took the plunge and picked up a fish that I've been eyeing for a few weeks. It is a young (6 - 7 inch) African Lungfish (Protopterus annectens) with a LONG way to go before it reaches its eventual maximum size of about 3 feet. Right now it is in a quarantine tank while its new 40 gallon 'breeder' grow-out aquarium is cycling. The first picture of the fish is below.
