I have a red tailed shark that only eats algae..... I want to start growing it in the tank so it can eat more and when it wants.... How do I start growing it?

You can leave the lights on longer, maybe? I've heard you can also grow algae by getting some rocks and putting them in water and leaving them in sunlight. Then put the rocks in the tank and grow algae on fresh ones. Then keep switching them out when the shark eats it all. Are you sure it only eats algae? It's an omnivore from what I'm reading, and should be eating other things; maybe try a variety of foods and see what it goes after....
