Hey guys i been away for a few days and came home to my reef looking like this what algae is it and how do i get rid of it my lights were in for 36 hours my times didnt work :/ ill post params soon but please any help with be appriciated

Algea is a sign of unbalance between lights and nutrients. You got an unbalance with your 36 hours lighting.

It look like green algea, they are often caused by excess lighting time.

Rebalance by buying a working light timer, and algea should get away progressively.

Clean what you can clean with a scrub...
 
Any corals? If not, I'd shut the lights off except for feeding. Let the ambient room lighting suffice for a few days to 1 week. That should take care of algae. Pull of what you can before hand of course.
 
Yea i got a new timer i have a 55 gal that im setting up this weekend so this tank will be getting taken down
