Ok so today since i have critters in the tank is the first day i actually turned the lights on in the morning at a time and plan to turn them off tonight at a certain time ..... well when i left this morning the tank was good ... when i got home from class there were some green spots of algae on the tank front sides and back .... should i be worried or is this normal for a new tank (im kind of glad cause now all the critters i got have something to munch on) ... TIA

Algae growth is normal for a newly set up tank from what I hear, I know I get some from time to time.

It is like a green slimy algae on the glass .... so probably nothing to worry about cause my snails seem to be taking care of it
