The closest I am coming to it is a rock flower anemone. I cannot find any this color, nor can I tell if rock anemone have a big foot. I have been looking through all my books too and cant seem to find anything close.
I'm fairly sure this is an Epicystis genus, just not sure on the species. It has all the "characteristics" of the genus but the tentacle dispurtion is not what I'm familiar with. There are many in this genus but unfortunately not very well documented. As far as color goes, not the best or recommeded way to ID these creatures. Tentacle shape/density, oral disc, foot and prefered location are primary. Color is often a result of available lighting and food sources.
Does the LFS know what region it was collected from?
