Not eating, breathing faster & red gills

I have a red zebra cichlid for 3 weeks now. He/she isn’t doing good about a week ago. He/she I’ve gotten at pet store along with another fish OB red zebra unfortunately that one didn’t make it not even 4 days of having him. I’ve notice both had stingy, long, and white poop. Just started treating with metroplex; I’m still not seeing no change in my red zebra cichlid. Just hoping someone can help me? Please & thank you. I’m
