Angel fish

I recently purchased to marble fail angel fish for some reason the stay towards the top of the tank with less light under my duck weed and Australian water sprite...they are eating and look colorful.

Have you tested your water parameters?

My water is a little hard, PH 7.4-7.6

What about ammonia, nitrites & nitrates? That ph should be ok.
