Angelfish Sexing

could anyone possibly help me determine the sex of these two angel fish?

How old are the fish? Very difficult to sex angelfish until they pair up and start to breed. With modern breeding females often have male characteristics.

I am unsure of the age i’ve had them about two weeks. they’re approximately 2 inch maybe slightly larger.

They are very young. Too early to say. When they double in size if you have a female she might start laying eggs, if you have a male he might fertilise them. 2 females, they might both lay eggs and just have a go at it. 2 males they may not tolerate each other, depending on tank size and territory availability. You will just have to wait for a few more months.

Way too young to be able to sex them. Wait til they are about 8-10 months old. Only way to tell for sure is to look at the breeding tubes which don't appear until they are getting ready to spawn. Anything else is just a guess. If you get eggs you know you have at least one female. If the eggs hatch you know you have a female and a male.
