So I've been doing my research and finally pulling the trigger on PPS-Pro. A few questions to just double check.

Do I need to buy a third bottle for KNO3 if my fish already provide 10-20 nitrate before a water change?


Can anyone recommend a digital scale that is cheap and reliable?

How much glut should be mixed in the 500ml bottle?

I make up KNO3, nitrates, in their own dosing bottle. If your tank runs between 10-20ppm of nitrates you don't need to dose any extra.

As for the Glut I use 5ml per 500ml dosing bottle but I use 10-15ml in my micro dosing bottle as it is the mix that is most prone to having mold grow in it.
