Like many of us, I have to let my tapwater age for a couple of days before doing water changes, because the pH goes up as the dissolved CO2 works its way out. However, mine goes up about an entire point, from 6.6 to around 7.5 or 7.6.

This seems excessive, is it?

I don't think so personally. Mine goes down about the same everyday then back up when my co2 goes off. Plants, shrimp and fish don't seem to care so I don't. [emoji846]
