Hi,
I currently have a 55 gallon with a 48" 4x65 watt compact flourescent fixture.
I have rainbows; but they look like gray minnows, so I want to upgrade my lighting.

I ruled out T5-HO because of all the working bulbs I've had to replace in my compact flourescent...tired of that.

I think this just leaves LED. Can anyone recommend a good one? I don't care about corals or plants or anything else except making my fish shine with color.

Thanks for your help,
Debbie

If you aren't looking for coral or plant growth, look into the Marineland double bright or reef bright led fixtures. They have 48" fixtures that wouldn't grow coral on the best of days, but look pretty good on fish only systems. Reasonable prices too...

Take a look at the taotronics a lot of people on here have them and there not to expensive
