Aqua Controllers

I have been on the fence about purchasing a controller for my SW 75gal Tank, will be a mixed reef after cycling. I like the new Apex Jr. since it is modular I can add on to it if need be.
what kind of Controller do you use and what are the benefits you like and cons of your controller?
