I have had 3 and they all died but 2 of them I have no idea what happened. I also went to my LFS and one lady said she lost 5! Is this just a coincidence or are they just very fragile to take care of?

They are somewhat known for not taking to prepared foods very well. When there is no more algae to eat they can starve to death.

They only do well in well established tanks and in groups, also very picky about food - I've never seen any of my 5 feed on an algae wafer though they will eat cucumber occasionally when I put some in for my Clown Pleco. Well known for not lasting to long in unsuitable aquariums.

They are very well known for not being the hardiest of fish.

Typically an aquarium that has been running for some time and has good water is a good match for them

Okay thanks guys! That explains alot! I've never given fresh veggies before. What veggies will work? And how much?

Thanks so much! Hope this will make my fish feel healthier!
