At the risk of looking tacky, I'd like to give my fish a nice place to hide out, and I found some old hand painted terra cotta pots. I don't know what kind of paint was used, but it doesn't seem sealed at all. Is there something that I can do to make them fish-safe if they aren't already?

Thanks

I personally wouldn't use them unless you: boil the hell out of it and clear coat the whole thing.

There's a certain kind of paint I can't remember the name of... It's clear. GRRRRR. I'm sure someone will chime in.

I agree. I bought like 6 or so for $1.99. It's better to err on the safe side than to risk a whole tank catastrophe.
