Attacked by a Tiger

Ok so it was a tiger oscar. Today when feeding them their weekly crickets here comes my 14" male right out of the tank and hits me square in the face! I tried to catch him but he fell right through my hands, quickly grabbed a towel and tossed him back in the tank. He's obviously stressed, breathing a little hard but seems ok so I hope he makes it. This pair of oscars are hands down my favorite fish I've kept over the last twenty years.

lol ya whenever i feed my oscars i have to keep them from jumping out of the tank. Once when my precious little oscars were babys i had a topples tank. One of them jumped out....... Luckily i was getting water to put back in the tank from a pwc and he jumped in there. lol never had one jump at my face though.

haha they sound very personable! but at 14" that must've been quite the hit!
