That's cool, tell your friend nice job. I'm hoping to get into breeding mine. I have a veil tail. But I got 2 more yesterday. A girl and boy. The girl is so tiny. The boy is a bit bigger.

I love the koi bettas, I recently got this little girl. She's feisty tho, jumped out onto the floor while I was cleaning the tank. Not a good idea when there are cats in the house. Luckily I noticed and put her back with no harm done.

Well mine is a girl so hers won't grow any longer. With males it depends on their type. Plakat bettas only have shorter fins

It's also worth mentioning that most koi bettas are also marble bettas and will therefore have the jumping gene causing their colours to change over time. Here's a more recent pic of my girl that shows her colours darkening a little

My Koi Betta is turning white and blue I don't see any orange coming in.

Gave him new substrate and a log today.
