baby starfish

I have these small white look like spider web thinks all over my tank. The tank is about 1 month old. And they have been there for about 3 weeks. There are over 500 i would say on the glass at any given time. I will try to get a picture tonight.

The spiderweb things sound like spaghetti worms. A pic definately will help narrow it down.

Hard to see but if you look close. To the right of the glair you will see one ( took a picture through a magnifying glass

The other one is closer up this one is faint but right in the middle you will see.

I'm sorry, I dont see what you mean. Could you back away from the tank and try zooming in instead? Also try angling the camera so the flash doesn't bounce back at you.

they are very hard to see(with the camera) with out using a magnafing glass. you can just see specs. I left the picture un-compressed so you can zoom in to see them.

The fouth pic is perfect. They are hydroid jellies. They show sometimes in newer systems but normally die out as the tank matures and thier food source depletes. I wouldn't worry about them.
