Something is eating my barnacles. I have sailfin tang, chromi, hermits (one big jade and a bunch small blue leg), 2 peppermint shrimp, 4 turbo snails, many small starfish noName?, 3 pistol shrimp small, 2 types of small crabs, bristle worms and stars.
I wonder who the culprit be.

I wish my peppermint sh. and turbo snails would eat my aiptasia.

Also the hermits and the sailfin tang are eating my awsome Mermaids green wine glass. I loved that plant.

What kind of crabs?
Barcacles tend to be cooler water animals (I think), is it possible they are dead and your clean up crew is doing it's job?

rock came from the keys I think it was teaming w/ barnacals. not sure about the crabs. little black ones.
btw have you heard of a coconut crab?

Barnacles are filter feeders that typically do not live too long in an aquarium. It is most likely that they are dying and then the cleanup crew is doing its job. Not too many things can pry a healthy barnacle out of its home.
