I've been thinking about using a co2 unit but it's kind of intimidating considering all of the types there are out there. I have a 60 gallon tank and I'd like to get one so much plants grow faster and more lusher than they are. Could anyone recommend a good unit to use that's not too expensive? 150-200 would be an acceptable price unless there are cheaper units that are good.

Welcome to AA :)

You can make it as cheap or expensive as you want. If you want the basic setup...

Milwaukee ma957 Regulator- $89
5lb Co2 Cylinder- $50
DIY Reactor- $15
Drop Checker- $10-15
Co2 Tubing- depending on how much you need, about $5

I got most of my stuff from different websites. If you read through the 40 breeder journal in my signature, it shows my whole experience with my first planted tank up until this point so far. Lots of good info on Co2, lighting, ferts, etc.

Ty so much and I just realized I posted in the wrong thread but I guess that's what I get for posting on an iPhone :)
