Best color for lunar lights.

I'm looking at these for one or maybe all of my tanks. I see that they offer blue and white led's.

Can anybody offer any reason why one color would be better than the other?

personal preference is all it is.

I love the blue color of mine, but if I turn them down in intensity, the water difuses the lower level quicker and it actually looks white to a certain extent, which is cool too.

You can adjust the intensity of yours? Which ones did you go with?

i got the ones from www.thelebos.com

they're pricey comparatively speaking, but the dimmer is nice.
However, in all honesty, I never use it... I like the blue, so it's either all on or all off

I am loving the blue LED's from Fos&Smith, they look amazing.

Hmmm I was looking at the same ones from F&S. But that site neilan posted has great prices on the DIY page.

I think I feel a DIY lunar light thread coming on.......

I have blues and think they're pretty, but if you wanted to watch your tank at night, I think the white illuminates a little better.
