Betta injured

My betta got injured when I was putting him back in his aquarium.. He lost his scales.. Will he die? What do I do.. Please help!!!!

Do a few extra water changes, making sure the old and new water match temperatures, and don't forget the dechlorinator. Pristine water helps heal a variety of ailments. If he starts to look reddish or fuzzy in that area, try a medication like Jungle Fungus Eliminator. It helps with bacterial and fungal infections.
