I will be getting a betta since my prior passing of my first Betta. So currently I reset up my tank and has been successfully been running with positive testing parameters. My question is that prior experience with heating my 5.5 gallon tank kept at 74-76 degrees. My thermometer kept it there. I have purchased a much nicer adjustable one that is staying at 80 degrees I read that is what it should be. Water feels about that . Is this OK for it or is it suppose to be lower.

Bettas do just fine in water that is anywhere between 76 and 84 degrees, so 80 is a great temp and he will definitely appreciate the warmth! :)
