Help! I am hoping this isn't urgent, but my black moor goldfish has suddenly started sporting silver scales in a defined patch on his side. I have tried to find similar cases but all the ones I am seeing look more gold-like due to that being the ultimate colour of that black moor. His looks like there is a piece of aluminum stuck to his side, I originally noticed it because of the brightness of the reflection. I have had him for a little over four months now and he has been doing great. He is currently in a tall 20 gallon tank by himself and he is swimming around like crazy, he really does seem quite happy. Because of his behaviour, I am not too concerned about any immediate threat to his health, but I would love to know if this is just a variation on the regular black moor metamorphasis process that I have read about? Any help would be greatly appreciated
