Blue chromis sick. What is it?n How to treat.

That looks like marine ich to me.

I think it is recommended that all fish be treated.

Maybe some of the advisors can help me out with identification.

Once in a while, one of my chromis gets the exact same thing.. It always seems to be happening to the "weakest link", they begin to slow down quite alot the group alienates it. All other species in the tank do not contract the same symptoms and are fine. I would QT and monitor, I did the same but was unsure how to treat.

Chromis is in QT and has never been exposed to main. It had a few specks on it so I treated with paraguard. Woke up this morning to it looking rough. What is puzzling is it is running down the lateral line but it extrudes from the body.

Im pretty sure its the same ailment as what my chromis had. I treated with a few bacterial meds but had no luck.

Lets see if Steve can chime in and see what the deal is..
