Both ghost shrimp died today

So idk if this is a freak coincidence or not but when I got home I saw both my adult ghost shrimp dead. I have two baby ones in there who are fine. The fish are ok (besides one weird acting platy) and they're in a 10 gallon tank.

My theory is this. I got the two ghost shrimp on the same day about 7 months ago. I know this might sound crazy but maybe they were both born and shipped on the same dates, and both died of old age today? Is that possible?

Dead. I know what molted skin looks like. Both are yellowish, and are full as well (not empty like a shell from molting)

It is possible they both died the same day of natural causes, not probable though I'm afraid.

Idk but I find ghost shrimp actually pretty hard to keep alive. RCS type shrimp not a problem, ghost shrimp die if you look at them funny
