I don't know if I would have room in the living room for a 100g tank. I have a knight goby, I only see him once a week. He will sit in front of the tank so I can feed him some frozen shrimp and then he will hide in a rock rest of the week. I've never seen a ugly fish in any store.

I've seen on at a not so local LFS and they are awesome! Super bizarre, but, like the goby, tend to hide quite a bit, mostly because they're ambush predators. But if a 100 gallon is too big, i'd look into a minimum of 75 if you want to keep the brackish (mostly because archers are known to get up to a foot long, although not as common in captivity).
