Happy Friday!

So my 4 year-old has little 1-gallon tank with a Betta. Gets us to thinking about getting bigger and better fish. One thing leads to another and last night we came home from my mother-in-laws house with a 6ftx2ftx1.5ft glass fish tank. I'm going to be working on a stand this weekend, but as far as putting fish in it... I'm all open for suggestions. I understand that saltwater tanks are insanely expensive, although much more eye-catching. I'm all for any advice, tips, tricks.
