Bristle worm ate nassarius snail

anyone ever had this happen....the bristle worm is kind of big...maybe 2-3 inches long. It's kind of fat too.
 
I'm not sure. I guess it could have been. Is it even possible for a 2-3 inch bristle worm to eat a snai?
 
If you didn't actually SEE the worm eat your nassarius then theres a good chance the snail was already dead and the worm was looking for somewhere to burrow into.
 
more than likely the worm was just doing its job. It came across a dead snail and started to clean it up. that's what they do ;)
