I thought they were different? I've heard elliotti as common name but I thought auerum was a different thorichthys species than maculpinnis? Eh, I could be wrong.

The amount of jealousy I have because you have abacaxis is through the roof!!! So beautiful. Any breeding action with them? And how difficult are they in regards to water params and feeding? (Sorry for the questions, just curious because I'm interested in getting a pair for myself)

They're still young, under a year anyways. The isolated pair displays and does all.the apisto mating stuff but in don't think they're ready. Male.needs some more finnage to seal the deal I use ro water, low tds, humeric acid to soften it up a bit. Weekly 50%wc never apologize for questions. You should see what I ask on the apisto forum haha... i have no idea what I'm doing, luckily there are many who do on my cell phone!
