BRS two-part dosing question

Being a professional, I agree sniperhawk. Amateurs are over rated. ;-)

I would concentrate on raising the alkalinity to at least 8. Remember, as we said as one goes up often one goes down. It's a balancing act where I recommend concentrating on alk first. If Mag is in parameters (which it seems it is) then you will be able to slowly climb both the other values. JMO

So now, I have one more question. Yesterday I tested my water and was as follows: Ca=395, Alk=7.0, Mg=1440. Today it was: Ca=410, Alk=6.4, Mg=1480. I tested at the same time both days. Can anyone explain this to me please?

Which part and how much did you added? What test kit are you using?
