Bubbling Volcano and air pump

was hoping someone could help walk me through setting up an air pump with a bubbling volcano in my 55gallon that is already filled with water.

Connect air line to volcano.
Connect check valve to air line.
Connect air line to other end of check valve.
Connect air pump to air line.
Plug in the air pump.
Place volcano in tank.

Make sure to install the check valve in the proper direction.
