Considering A Brown Bullhead Catfish can reach a length of around 16'' adult size one should be housed in a very large tank. What size tank would yall recommend? Thanks in advance.

I don't know what the swimming habits of that fish are but at 16" in length, I would say 150 gallons minimum.

Gallons may not be as important as tank length, he will need plenty of length to swim and turn around. But also gallons to handle a pretty messy dude! 150 to 180 and maybe bigger as he gets bigger?

If speaking of Ameiurus nebulosus, then it can attain almost 2', roughly 21.5" and 6lbs. This is a big and rather messy fish so I would plan accordingly with strong filtration and aeration. The catfish should be able to turn comfortably without hitting the sides of the glass, so at least 36" of width and 48" of length. If I were housing this fish longterm with other fish I would go even larger.
