i got a burgandy algae growing on my sand and lr, seems to be real thick and all connected together, when it grows thick in one area, seems to make bubbles out of the algae, i dont think its diatoms, any advice on how to get rid of it?

alright man, Ive used stuff to remove phosphates and silicates from the water, other then that all my test are comming out perfect as far as water conditions. all the green algae stopped growing, but this stuff just covers the sand in like blankets.

That is cyano, definitely, no two ways about it, cyano. There is an article written on it in the articles section here, you might want to browse through it.
