So, I saw this beautiful spirally snail, in what happens to be my favorite color: black. And since I wanted different snail than my apple snail, I just had to have it.
See, I wasn't so brilliant when I made this decision. The gravel in my tank is also black and any number of the different pieces look exactly like it. Just got a few more plants today and since planting them, I hadn't seen it for a while. Fortunately my girlfriend was quick on the search and found it chilling out near the aerator.
Anyway, my question is, if I inadvertently bury my snail somehow, will it be able to dig itself out? Its shell is about 3/4 inch long.
Much thanks!
