Can fry survive without parents?

I just got some fry cichlids. About a month old. Can they make it? I have some live plants and java moss on a rock, and a little bit of brown algae growth on a part of the tank walls and some "first bites" fish food. Tomorrow I will pock ip some frozen baby shrimp for them.

Uh... Yes fish fry can survive without parents. Depending on the breed, getting them to survive and grow healthily can be next to impossible or as easy as pie
