I am thinking of putting in a new bottle of bacteria eg seachem stability to my tank I already added Dr.Tims one and only 10 days ago I think I got a bad bottle, so if I put in a new bottle of seachem stability will this be okay or do I have throw out the cartilages in my filter with the old bacteria on them so I would have fresh cartilages for the new bacteria to stick on to or can I just put the new bottle of bacteria into the tank as is any advice on this would be appreciated thanks

No need to toss out the filter media. Dont rely on the instant bacteria bed products. I doubt their effectiveness. Maybe use the seachem product in an emergency.

No need or help will come from replacing filter media IMO.
Why do you think the DR Tims did not work?
I can see no harm from adding the seachem ,but it may not help a lot either if the bacteria are already there ...
