Cannot identity what these small things

My 55 gal community tank has these small "salt grain" like dots all over the slate, driftwood, leaves, and subscrate, some of my angel fishes have 1 or 2 dots on them and one has a dot on its fin so not entirely positive to confirm that it is actually ich or not (theres no changes in behavior) other than the two pairs fighting over parts of the tank most the time.

Looks like left over flake food on the rock.
I see this often myself.

But the small white specks around the food is what baffles me

The unidentified white stuff might be tank fungus, feeding on the decaying flake food.
