Catfish damaged barbel?

1 of my giraffe catfish's barbels has gone white at the tip and is kinda floppy. Do you think it's just damaged somehow and it will heal or something more serious starting? Any advice appreciated.

No ideas or similar experiences? I really don't want him to get sick he is 1 of my favourite fish

If he has no problem eating and finding food, I wouldn't worry too much. Clean water is the key in these situations. Clean water can heal pretty much anything-- the most natural remedy there is!

Yea he is still eating fine and acting normal. Thanks I feel better about it now
