Thanks for your help. I will see if I can get hold of some dry ferts, I guess they are cheaper in the long run as well?! I may be able to get hold of some at work (I work in a lab!!!), "ha ha" naughty naughty
As you say, you also know how much you're putting in of it all as well. Will I need to get some ferts for the other micronutrients such as iron etc? The diatoms aren't getting any worse at the moment (I have been away for 4 days so am happy it looks the same!) but there is still a little bit of BGA inbetween the glass/gravel which I guess is down to the NO3 levels not quite being high enough?
