Just wondering if anyone here has used this one or the smaller 500 filter and if so any good/bad things? I did see a thread on a review where the shipped O-ring on the 500 was to thick and caused all kinds of issues.

Well the filters the first thing to show up, even knowing its large and wouldn't fit under my tank it the cabinet I have I wasn't expecting the sheer size that it is.. washed the foam inserts and ended up with a bit of open space, works for me as I plan on adding some bioballs or some such down the road, will take pics in a few days.
