Changing filter floss

I was wondering how often should I change my filter floss in my 8g. Should it be every month or so. Also when I change do I take it out all at the same time? Thanks in advance

I change my floss weekly during my wc, and change it all out no need to worry about bb that's what your rocks are for. If not changed regularly it can turn into a nitrate trap
