I have a 55 gal Tk now for about 8 years I have Cichlids for the last 4 years in it. However they have now grown to about 35 from 15 in my Tank and its getting a little hard keeping the Tank clean. I also have a African Catfish and a 8" Kroami also. I hate to just flush the fish but nobody I know seems to want them. Any suggestions?

Worst case scenario just give them back to a pet store

Don't flush them! It's incredibly painful

Try craigslist and lots of LFS will pay for cichlids

Just wondering how you know this :D

Many Fish shops will take them. If you cant find someone to take them then separate the male and female so you don't keep getting off spring that is what I had to do a couple times. Any fish that is common it is hard to get rid of see if someone will take them as feeders.

Imagine pure bleach being soaked into your skin for hours on end and add swimming in sewage... Yuck! :)
