Classic newbie mistake, shrinking anemone

sorry about the late post ^^^, missed the second page, sorry about your loss, you may want to tell the lfs it died, as i did, i told them however that my tank had been running for a couple of years (i realised i put it in too early), they gave me a refund in store credit and i got a coral, trust me its worth a try!

i had the same problem i think with the "smoke" but mine looked more like a slimy material shedding off of it. does that sound the same?

those pics lead me to saying the anemone is dying..! i'd get it out before it fouls the water.. if it already hasnt..!

I took it out the day I posted, last week I think it was. It died that day. It was really gross. I'm not going to try anything like that again for a while.
