If a cleaner shrimp lost a rear leg during acclimation will the leg grow back? Also will the shrimp survive?

Acclimation was standard. We acclimated two cleaner shrimp and 27 hermits. Only one cleaner shrimp lost a leg. Could have been missing at the lfs.

It should grow a new one. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't survive without a rear leg.

unless you have a blenny! I had a shrimp (pepermint, i dont know how cleaners fair with blennies) that lost one leg when it got into my overflow. It was fine, but as soon as I put it back into the display tank... the blenny could just tell... it crept out and ate it!

No Bleny's

We have actually added 2 clowns false percs. The shrimp is doing very well and seems to be very happy.

One leg doesnt seem like it would have an effect on the fish unless it gets infected or something "not sure what to call it in saltwater world" but yes I believe it will grow back.
