Hey guys! So about two weeks ago my cleaner shrimp eggs had hatch. See video...

For the past few days. After the moonlights shut off and it's pitch black, I see the reflection of a bunch of little eyes. I look closely and it appears to be miniature shrimp. They have just developed a red stripe down its backs. I know for a fact that they are not amphipods or copepods as they look different. Also during the day time I see tiny little molted shrimp shells floating about. Here is the video of them. They tend to all hide in the light.

I've asked about this the first time I seen their eggs hatch. And I was told there is no success of raising fry unless a I raise them in a separate tank and prepare special food. Is it possible to naturally raise them in the main tank? Has anyone else had luck??

Congrats! They're cute! I have a pair of pistol shrimp in my DT and have never seen a fry mature to an adult. There almost always seems to be fry though.

the frys will not survive in the main tank either. if you have anything in the main tank, anything from skimmer to corals to fish to other inverts, your frys will definitely ending up be food. i have a pregnant cleaner shrimp as well and from what i have read, it takes +100days for the frys to metamorph into semi-adults.

I'll let you guys know if I have any luck... Which I doubt. But who knows??
