cloudy water,

Hi guys, I'm having trouble with cloudy water with white spots floating around. I have tried everything. Literally. Water changes filter cleans, extra media in the filter. manually trying to take stuff out and accuclear. Nothing seems to shift it.
Any ideas??
I'm possibly looking to get or make an in tank filter as well as my canister filter. But not sure it would do anything. Help!!!!

You could try an HOB filter with polishing pads.

I have the same problem; it looks like white particles floating around right? Drives me nuts. I put my tap water in a clear glass and come to find out it's coming from my tap water (which makes sense b/c the particles seemed to actually get worse just after a pwc). I have two filters and polishing pads in both and I rinse the media regularly during pwc and it makes no difference. Check your tap water, that may be the issue.
