Hi, can anyone help?
Is it normal behaviour for a clown fish to sit at bottom of tank in the sand, he is new this is his 3rd day. We bought him as a pair and the other one is swimming around happily.
Many thanks

It's my experience that they stay more at the top of the tank. I would certainly keep an eye on him.

I had a set of clowns that pretty much lived on the sandbed. Kinda goofy but they were fine. I'd keep an eye in parameters since it's a new addition to the tank though.

Good luck, let us know how it shakes out!

Thank you both for you comments, just to let you know he seems alot happier now swimming all over tank, think he was just getting used to new tank plus I had a humbug fish but he was a bit of a bully so have found him a new home, my other fish seem happier without him :)

Glad they are doing well! Sometimes it just takes a few days for them to get used to where they are. :)
